The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) training prepares individuals to use their lived experience to provide peer recovery services to individuals and family members touched by problematic substance use in the community.
In an effort to support and promote the co-occurring peer workforce in NJ, Consumer Connections offers the CPRS training annually to eligible Core Graduates who have a goal of obtaining dual credential status (CRSP and CPRS). This 46-hour training meets the training requirement for the CPRS credential as outlined by the Addiction Professionals Certification Board, Inc.
*The CPRS training through Consumer Connections is only available to eligible Core Graduates who are pursuing dual credential status.
