WorkFirst New Jersey offers direct services to support and educate individuals with mental health challenges and their family members to help them gain and maintain employment.

The MHANJ supports the State’s WorkFirst NJ program and the welfare reform program, Supportive Assistance to Individuals and Families (SAIF), emphasizing work as the first step toward building a new life and a brighter future. Our goal is to help people get off welfare, secure employment and become self-sufficient, through job training, education and work activities.
